Join the 100 Club and become part of the MaGiC here at the Lighthouse!
During our 100th anniversary year, we are looking for 100 new supporters to join the Lighthouse Monthly Giving Circle to make the MaGiC happen! You decide the amount and when in the month you’d like your donation to reoccur, and we’ll ensure employees requiring specialized training benefit from your gift!
Every Lighthouse employee who is blind or DeafBlind has the opportunity to receive up to three hours of paid training each week. This training includes: braille instruction, assistive technology, American Sign Language (ASL) and Pro-Tactile ASL, English as a Second Language, safe travel through Orientation and Mobility (O&M) training, and a host of other leadership and work related certifications and educational opportunities. These are offered at no charge to our employees and usually during work hours, but they cannot happen without the financial support of friends like you.
