National Good Neighbor Day – Spokane

National Good Neighbor Day is a day to connect with and recognize the importance of good neighbors. At Inland Northwest Lighthouse (INL) we want to connect with our neighbors! Please join us for an opportunity to “Get to Know the Lighthouse” on Thursday, September 28th from 12:00 p.m. – 1:15 p.m. at our Spokane facility. You will have a chance to see how INL has been making an impact in the Greater Spokane area for the past 9 years by touring our manufacturing facility, and learning about our Employee and Community Services department, while spending time with friends, family, and our neighbors.
Since opening on June 16th 2008, Inland Northwest Lighthouse has been providing employment opportunities and training programs for people who are blind, DeafBlind, and blind with other disabilities in the Spokane community. We currently employ 58 individuals, over 40 who are blind in a variety of jobs including production and manufacturing.Our “Get to Know the Lighthouse” events are the perfect opportunity to not only tour our facility, but learn about our organizations history, make some great connections, and ask questions of our employees.
When: Thursday September 28th, 12:00 p.m. – 1:15 p.m.

Please bring a family member, friend, co-worker, or neighbor! All are welcome! A light lunch and refreshments will be provided.
