3rd Annual Lighthouse Golf Tournament — Seattle

Please join us for The Lighthouse for the Blind, Inc.’s 3rd annual Seattle Golf Tournament. Here’s your opportunity to help us celebrate the creation of jobs, support specialized programs and trainings, and empower employees who are blind, Deaf Blind and blind with other disabilities.

Hosted by the Lighthouse’s Foundation Board of Directors, this tournament began with a handful of players and has grown into one of the organization’s most exciting fundraisers.

This year, we are expanding the event to a full tournament and feature a post-golf lunch for the players. You can register as an individual or find three coworkers, friends, or family members to join you and make a foursome.

We will play at the spectacular and challenging Northshore Golf and Country Club in Tacoma, one of the premier courses in the area. Please join us no matter what your golf skill level is and get ready for some Lighthouse mission-oriented challenges!

Tournament Details:

Location: Northshore Golf and Country Club, 4101 Northshore Blvd. NE, Tacoma, WA 98422
Date: Friday, August 26th, 2016
Registration Opens: 7:00 a.m.
Tee Time: 8:00 a.m.
Lunch Served (approx.): 1:00 p.m.
Number of Players: 144 maximum
Cost to players: $125.00 per player, includes cart and lunch.
Start Format: Shotgun, with two teams teeing off at each hole, allowing the maximum number of players to play.
Play Format: Best Ball

Special Features: At two holes each player will be required to tee off using a black-out blindness vision simulator. Additionally, we will offer mulligans and a few other games on the course to support our fundraising efforts. There will be awards for the top scoring team and individual, longest drive, and closest to the pin.
